This session will equip the candidate with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform a risk assessment in the work place. Learners will learn to use the HSE's 5 step of risk assessment and will practice these skills via a practical.

Noise at Work Awareness

This session will raise awareness of noise in the workplace and the long lasting damage it can cause. Learners will be equipped with suitable knowledge about PPE, Noise damage and responsibilities regarding noise management

PUWER Awareness

This session is for any staff members who work with machinery, either operators or maintenance engineers any anyone else.

The session covers the basics of the PUWER regulations and focusses on ISO standards around machinery guarding.

CoSHH Assessing / Awareness

This session focusses on CoSHH, candidates will learn how to get information about substances and use this to perform a CoSHH assessment. Learners will discover which substances are covered and not covered by the CoSHH regulations.

Learners will also learn basic control methods in line with a hierarchy of control.

H&S Essentials for Workers

This session is for general workers in any industry. Candidates will learn about their responsibilities, and that of their employers.

The will learn basic but essential tips to stay safe and what to do in the event of an incident or unsafe environment.

H&S Essentials for Managers

This session is for any manager or supervisor who is responsible for managing people. The session will cover your legal duties and responsibilities and will discuss real legal cases to help learners understand basic legal principles.

Learners will also go through risk assessing and risk management.

Spill Responder

In this session candidates will undergo mainly a practical exercise in the use of your onsite spill equipment.
